It has been said over and over….. get 8 hours of sleep, exercise everyday, drink your water and eat healthy… doing all of these things will help improve your mood and day. While these are solid bits one thing that has been so helpful for me is meditation and mindfulness for a clear head.
Mostly when people think about wanting to be more productive, it’s around work — producing better work, and more of it. There are several ways that meditation can boost your performance and productivity on the job.
Studies have shown that meditation is associated with structural changes in areas of the brain that are responsible for cognitive and emotional processing. That change also helps improve working memory and decision-making. Meditation can help declutter your thoughts and sharpen your concentration.
So let’s all try to do a quick mindful exercise as we are getting up and ready to combat our day!
